“The God [El] Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people” (Psalm 68:35).
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God [El], and there is none else; I am God [Elohim], and there is none like me” (Isaiah 46:9).
“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God [El] , and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22].
“Ye are my witnesses, saith Yahweh, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God [El] formed, neither shall there be after me” (Isaiah 43:10).
Clearly, the God of the Hebrew Scriptures is one Mighty God – one El – not two or three.
