There's nothing wrong with social networking. However, addiction to it, like Facebook) is a form of idolatry. The Lord our God is a jealous God. Why not use it as a good tool to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world.
"Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful. Be sure to pray that God will make a way for us to spread his message and explain the mystery about Christ.. Please pray that I will make the message as clear as possible. When you are with unbelievers, always make good use of the time. Be pleasant and hold their interest when you speak the message. Choose your words carefully and be ready to give answers to anyone who asks questions." Colossians 4:2-6, CEV
When I Think of His Goodness and All He's Done for MeI praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works in me. You are wonderful, and while everyone watches, You store up blessings for all who honor and trust You (Psalm 31:19). We abundantly utter the memory of Your great goodness, and we sing of Your righteousness (Psalm 145:7). Your goodness has led us to repentance (Romans 2:4). The Spirit of light that dwells in us produces every kind of goodness, righteousness and truth (Ephesians 5:9).
Now, the goodness that we have makes us want to do good. And the faith that we have makes us work in righteousness and truth. Let Your power help us do these things more and more according to Your will, so that the name of the Lord Jesus will be honored.
Missing HellHere is another preaching, entitled "Missing Hell", that defines idolatry and idolaters. Starting from 5:14, anything we elevate above God, the things of God, and the work of God can become an idol to us. (Rev. 21:8; Gal. 5:19-21)
"And because of our situation in our days, everything is doing the works of the flesh. If it pleases the flesh, if it makes me happy, if it satisfies me, if it gives me joy and pleasure, then I will do it. Everything is about self today." (Rom. 8:5-6)
Hater of his brother is a murderer (1 Jn. 3:15) and a liar (1 Jn. 4:20).
Tongue (James 3:8-10)
It's a direct-to-the-point preaching with reference to the Scriptures and lots of examples and amplifications.

Beware of the World's Craftiness
The world is fond of writing quotations in Facebook that others may comment with "like" and "super like". People are writing "pick-up" lines with the sole motive of entertaining the readers. Then, these will be shared to one friend to another and another until another "pick-up" line is written. "Yes, worldly people are smarter in their business with each other than spiritual people are" (Luke 16:8, ERV). I do hope that Christians will take precautions so as not to fall in this trap.
"Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe" (1 Cor. 1:20-21). The more man relies on the wisdom of this world, the more he becomes alienated to the wisdom of God or to the Scriptures as he consider that the preaching of the Word is a foolishness.
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; (I Cor. 3:19-21)." Let it be the Word for the day as an exhortation not to meddle with the foolishness and wisdom of this world. Anyone may say that he's not meddling but merely befriending. But, take note. There is craftiness in the works of the wise. It's better to be wise as a serpent. Beware that the conditioning craftiness of the world may come into your spirit unnoticeably. Refrain yourselves from the wisdom of this world. It has a sting. It has a poison.
We teach wisdom to people who are mature, but the wisdom we teach is not from this world. It is not the wisdom of the rulers of this world, who are losing their power. But we speak God's secret wisdom that has been hidden from everyone until now. God planned this wisdom for our glory. He planned it before the world began. (1 Cor. 2:6-7, ERV)
This is what we are proud of, and I can say with a clear conscience that it is true: In everything we have done in the world, we have done it with an honest and pure heart from God. And this is even truer in what we have done with you. We did this by God's grace, not by the kind of wisdom the world has. (2 Cor. 1:12, ERV)

My Heart Breaks
Lord, show me 7,000 people who have never bowed down to Baal or kissed that idol.
